 Phagwara, October 14, 2026: Excellence on the playing field brought another moment of pride to Ramgarhia Polytechnic College, Phagwara, as its Football Team clinched the Gold Medal (First Position) and its Volleyball Team secured the Silver Medal (Second Position) at the PTIS Games 2026–27. These accomplishments reflect the determination of the players, the commitment of their mentors and the institution’s continued emphasis on developing confident, disciplined and well-rounded individuals through sports.

Football Team Clinches Gold with an Outstanding Performance

The Football Team of Ramgarhia Polytechnic College delivered a commendable performance to secure First Position and the Gold Medal at the PTIS Games 2026–27. The players displayed determination, coordination and a strong competitive spirit, bringing recognition and pride to the institution.

Special appreciation goes to Sardar Gaganpreet Singh, Lecturer in Electronics and Communication Engineering (LECE), the football team in-charge, for his dedicated efforts in guiding, preparing and motivating the players. His contribution reflects the importance of committed mentorship in helping young athletes build confidence, strengthen their abilities and perform effectively in competitive environments.

The team’s achievement stands as a testament to the players’ collective effort and their commitment to representing the college with determination and sportsmanship.
 

Volleyball Team Earns Silver Medal

Adding to the college’s sporting success, its Volleyball Team secured Second Position and the Silver Medal at the PTIS Games 2026–27. The team demonstrated commendable skill, perseverance and coordination, reinforcing the importance of teamwork and collective responsibility in competitive sports.

The college acknowledges the valuable support and contribution of Mr. Pardeep Dhiman, Lecturer in Chemistry; Mr. Varun Shingari, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department; Mr. Charandeep Singh, Head of the Civil Engineering Department; and Mr. Amandeep Singh, Workshop Department, in connection with the volleyball team.

Their encouragement and involvement helped foster a supportive sporting environment, motivating the players to give their best and represent the institution with pride. The team’s success reflects the combined value of preparation, commitment and encouragement in nurturing sporting talent.
 

 

Principal Mrs. Rupinder Kaur expressed her appreciation for the medal-winning teams and the faculty members who supported their preparation and participation.
