Ramgarhia Polytechnic College, Phagwara, celebrated the vibrant festival of Teej with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Principal Mrs. Rupinder Kaur, along with distinguished faculty members including Mrs. Poonam Rana (Head of Department, Computer Science), Mrs. Medha Walia (Lecturer, Electrical Engineering), Mrs. Pooja Verma and Mrs. Inderjit Kaur (Lecturers, Electronics & Communication Engineering) , Ms. Kajal from the Computer Science Department and Mrs. Meenakshi Sharma (Librarian)



 The celebration began with a captivating performance of the Punjabi folk dance Giddha by the girl students, setting a festive tone for the day. This was followed by a series of engaging cultural performances, showcasing the rich traditions and talents of the students. Girls from Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering actively participated in the program.

Adding to the festive spirit, the students adorned themselves in traditional Punjabi attire, enhancing the cultural essence of the event. Various fun-filled activities and interactive segments were organized, creating an atmosphere of joy and togetherness. Refreshments were served to all participants and attendees, further adding to the warmth of the occasion.

In her concluding address, Principal Mrs. Rupinder Kaur praised the students for their enthusiastic participation and commendable efforts in making the celebration memorable. She also appreciated the faculty members for their support in successfully organizing the event.

The Teej celebration not only reflected the cultural heritage of Punjab but also fostered a sense of unity, joy, and creativity among the students and staff.
