MESSAGE OF PRINCIPAL

"Necessity is the mother of invention" is a well-known proverb that everybody knows. Society can’t get the benefits of any invention without its effective communication using proper method. Thus, effective communication is also treated as mother of the development of Society and Nation. I, Mrs. Rupinder Kaur, presently Principal , Ramgarhia Polytechnic College, Phagwara, has joined this prestigious, first and oldest polytechnic institute of Punjab after India got independence, as a Lecturer in English in 1993. I am teaching English and Communication Skills along with administrative responsibilities as Head, Department of Applied Sciences and new responsibility of Principal. In the current new order of emerging world, the role of technical education and innovations is becoming more significant to compete in the business and services. Thus, input of all the stakeholders’ students, parents, alumni, employers and of course the faculty can play pivotal role to strengthen the key points where institute lags in providing the technical skills and to work together for the glory of this one of renowned institute of Punjab. There is a quote of famous scientist Einstein that “Dreams are always better than Knowledge”. But the dreams can be possibly converted to truth and reality if effective communicated, modeled and transformed into innovations and technologies. Being a non-technical person may be I can able to provide less technical enrichment of the student but can effectively help to make their dreams true. All the stakeholders are welcomed to provide fruitful inputs and contributions for development of the institute, society and the Nation."
