Admission Guidelines (As per PSBTE norms)

Ramgarhia Polytechnic College, Phagwara, offers AICTE-approved diploma programs in engineering. Admissions are conducted under the guidelines of the Punjab State Board of Technical Education (PSBTE), Chandigarh.

Eligibility Criteria

For 1st Year (Regular Diploma Entry):

• Candidate must have passed 10th standard 
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks are required.
• Subjects must include Mathematics, Science, and English (or equivalent subjects).

For Lateral Entry (Direct 2nd Year Admission):

Candidate must have passed either:

10+2 (Science stream) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry  OR  2-year ITI after 10th (in relevant trade).

Eligible for direct admission into the 3rd semester (2nd year).

• ITI/10+2 Marksheet (for lateral entry)

• Domicile Certificate

• Category Certificate (if applicable)

• Character Certificate

• Passport Size Photographs

• Choice filling and seat allotment based on merit.

• Physical reporting to college after seat allotment.
