Job Mela 2015 at Ramgarhia Polytechnic College
Under the eminent leadership of S Bharpur Singh Bhogal, Chairman & President Ramgarhia Group of Institutions & Council Phagwara in collaboration with Department Of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Government of Punjab has organised two days job fest on 26th and 27th Feb 2015 for the diploma holders (All Streams) at the campus of Ramgarhia Institute of Engineering and Technology, (RIET) Phagwara. This event was hosted by Ramgarhia Polytechnic College Phagwara, and was sponsored by the Alpha Global Enterprises.
On this occasion S. Bharpur Singh Bhogal stated that REC always provides opportunities for students in the sphere of employment and this mega job fest shows that REC’s aim is not only to provide quality education but also provides a platform for best jobs. Dr. Vyoma Bhogal Dhatt congratulated all the students, who have been placed in various companies and assured that such ventures will be planned in the future also. On this occasion Ramgarhia Polytechnic College Principal welcomed the distinguished guests and TPO’s, Teacher co-ordinators, and thanked them for the co-operation, and making this event a great success. Dr. Naveen Dhilon TPO of all Ramgarhia Institutes and S. Baljit Singh Ubhi, TPO Ramgarhia Polytechnic College Phagwara, added that this is one of the biggest event in the field of placements in Punjab, about 4000 students from various institutes and 80+ companies participated in this job mela. Dr. Vyoma Bhogal Dhatt, Director of REC, and Mr. Gagandeep singh Dhatt, MD Alpha Global Enterprises were the chief guest for the opening day ceremony. For the closing ceremony, Mr. Harinder Pal Singh, Additional Director of Technical Education and Industrial Training, Chandigarh, was the chief guest, Mrs. Narinderjit Kaur, was guest of hononr. Mr. Harinder Pal Singh Addl. Director appreciated the efforts of Ramgarhia Polytechnic College for organising the mega job fest 2015, which was a very big task. He also talked with the various representatives of the companies and TPO’s and enquired about the future needs and challenges in the field of technical education.
Mr. RK Dhawan( Principal RIET) congratulated the organisers, sponsors all staff members for making occassion a big hit. This extremely successful mega job fest placed opportunity for appointments to students, and approximate number of vacancies were 600.
